Kittens weighing 1.5 kg or more can safely use the PurrfectPoopy Box in automatic mode. It is not recommended to use the PurrfectPoopy self-cleaning litter box if your kitten does not reach this minimum weight. When you see that your kitten has used the PurrfectPoopy Box, turn the unit on and the PurrfectPoopy Box will automatically perform a cleaning cycle. Once this is complete, you can turn the unit off again. This way, your kitten is safe while it gets used to the PurrfectPoopy Box at a young age, and you don't have to scoop the litter box yourself!
